German Headquarters located in a typical Belgian camping ground near Melines, Belgium.  This building was used by the Germans as their HQ during much of their occupation of the northern shoulder of the Battle of the Bulge, between Hotton and Soy, Belgium.  Today the building is a bar.  Florent Lambert took me inside where we shared a beer.  He told me, through an interpreter, that he was 16 at the time and the Germans had threatened the lives of the Belgian woman and children held captive here.  Florent had been given charge over the women and children by the Belgian men of the area - the men had gone to war.
